The standardised supporting cross beams are designed and manufactured in accordance with DB Guideline 804.4110 and have been officially approved by Germany’s Federal Railway Authority (EBA) under approval number 21.51-21izbib/031-2101#007-(003/15-ZaB). They are supplied complete with integrated horizontal and vertical bearings.
These cross beams are suitable for all DB provisional bridges from ZH2 to ZH11, whether used in bridge chains or as single-span structures. Thanks to the integrated hydraulically adjustable vertical bearings, the provisional bridges can be precisely raised or lowered by +50 mm / –20 mm. This allows for fast and accurate height adjustment without the need for time-consuming spacer plates. Super elevations of up to 120 mm are also possible.
